It's easy to be all smiles when you earn a yearly salary in a week and take more holidays than most people eat takeaways, but Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch look genuinely happy together on holiday.

The couple soaked up the sunshine in Sardinia, giggling together and taking it in turns to look after their newborn daughter Sophia Rose.

The Tottenham Hotspur striker and his model fiancée lazed around on sun loungers, tickling each other as they sheltered from the heat in the shade.

Abbey showed off her svelte figure and flat stomach in a skimpy black bikini, leaving her blonde tresses to fall naturally over her shoulders.

The 25-year-old has quickly, and enviably, regained her pre-pregnancy figure since giving birth in March.

The Liverpudlian later covered up in a short dress, before taking their new addition to the family for a walk.

Yesterday, the former Hell's Kitchen contestant appeared to have burnt her stomach and seems to be taking better care of herself now.

At just three months old, changing nappies and unpredictable tears do not usually go hand-in-hand with beaches and sand.

But little Sophia looked happy and carefree as her parents played games with her - and Peter, 30, bouncing her up and down on his lap.

The trio have been holidaying on the Italian island since Crouch's football season ended.

The couple have taken the opportunity to bond with their daughter and have a breather ahead of their wedding later this month.

The pair started dating back in 2006, before announcing their engagement in July 2009.

Their relationship came under scrutiny last summer when Crouch was accused of sleeping with a teenage prostitute and reportedly tried to wipe his details from the hotel's computer database.
