But in this video, an adorable elderly yet incompetent elderly couple named Rita and Frank are totally unable to figure out how to take a photo with a webcam on their new Mac during Frank’s 84th birthday. Here’s hoping the click they heard wasn’t Frank’s pacemaker slowly grinding to a screeching halt. Yes, I felt as bad writing that as you did reading it. But whatever, you’re telling me that old lady could look all stylish in her expensive glasses and not hit “Take Picture” on a Mac, the Speak and Say of the computer world? Live the gimmick or get your ass back into Lenscrafters generic brand glasses, grandma. |

Anastasija Karner is a Latvian model and singer (why are all the female singers in other countries also models?) and appears in a very sexy photo shoot for the latest issue of FHM Latvia (yes, there’s an FHM there too). I guess Anastasija lives in Austria now, which is really irrelevant to our discussion here today. More importantly to me is the number of women from other countries named Anastasija or Anastasia or however they spell it. Is that a popular name outside the U.S.? I mean, I know we have a lot of strippers with that name here, but I just assumed that wasn’t their real name, they just picked it because it sounds exotic. I wonder if Anastasija is this lady’s real name? Man, I need a vacation, don’t I?        |

Smith hinted this morning on Mike and Mike that LeBron James was going through some personal stuff that may be affecting his play during the NBA finals. Well, it didn’t take long before the “personal stuff” surfaced, or at least some cockamamie version on somebody’s blog.
Again, just to reiterate, this info is about as reliable as a Lance Armstrong doping test. In fact, I’ll go right ahead and say I don’t believe a single word of it. That said, the timing of Stephen A. Smith’s quote this morning certainly leaves the door wide open for stories like this to come out. Wouldn’t be surprised if another one made its way into the blogosphere in the next few hours/days. |
| Posted: 09 Jun 2011 12:00 PM PDT Time for one last batch of teaser and gameplay vids from this week’s big gaming thing in LA. I posted a Soul Calibur 5 clip once before, but this one actually features the game in motion. And this one definitely feels Street Fighter-ish, with the pause before the big super combo and all. As also noted last time, the gameplay needed an overhaul, which also appears to be the consensus, so everyone’s definitely psyched… So the new Ace Combat is clearly taking its cues from Modern Warfare. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing… Forgot to pass this one along with Capcom’s other offerings from yesterday; I’m still not sold on Operation Raccoon City, but I’m becoming a bit more receptive to the idea of change at least… Speaking of zombies, another Dead Island trailer, one that’s thankfully avoid of the stupid sappy music from before (though there’s still silly attempts at pulling one’s heart strings to be sure)… Cut to something COMPLETELY different: cute animu chicks that are also part space craft… Remember Silent Hill? Or should I say, still care about it? Well, Konami’s hoping you still do… NeverDead is yet another action/horror/comedy title, very much like Shadow of Damned. But no where near as interesting looking, and considering how borderline generic Grasshopper Manufacture’s latest looks, that’s saying a lot. But on the plus side is the custom soundtrack of Megadeth of all folks… Yet ANOTHER Sony trailer. Jesus. This time for a first person shooter/bank robbery game. Kind of a genius set-up, huh? Thankfully the game looks to actually live up to the potential… Familiar with Trials HD? If not, run, don’t walk, to your Xbox 360 and nab the XBLA version to see why I’m so excited by this trailer for sequel. Which hardly shows anything except for the very end, I know, but trust me on this one, you’ll love it to death… |

But the question is that the actress is already so slim then why does she have to gym? Anushka says, "I’ve always been active and sporty, with a high metabolism rate. Earlier my visits to the gym were sporadic. Now, I’m more regular. My character in "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl" demands a good physique and trendy styling," says Anushka adding quickly, "I tend to lose weight if I’m not working out; if I lose any more weight I’d be anorexic." In the movie "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl", she has been conned by Ranveer Singh and when she was asked if in real life someone has conned her, the actress replied, "Never! No guy can ever con me; I can never be a victim!" It seems that Anushka rides away all the boys who try to con her. Well done Anushka, good going.
