VIDEO: Dramatic Kitten is shooting for too many memes at once Posted: 07 Jan 2011 01:28 PM PST It’s Friday afternoon, you’re almost ready to go home. You know what you need to get the weekend started right? A wacky kitten nom nom nom’ing and then doing the Dramatic Chipmunk face. Boom. I’m just amazed they were able to use CGI to remove the person who put a finger in the cat’s butt. I presume that’s how they got him to make that face as that’s typically the only time I see that look from a girlfriend. Or a genuinely shocked roommate. |
Sources: Jim Harbaugh lands with 49ers Posted: 07 Jan 2011 01:05 PM PST Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh has finally found a home in the NFL and surprisingly, it is not with the Miami Dolphins. Several reports yesterday had Harbaugh taking his talents to South Beach amidst a large sum of money offered to him from Michigan alum Stephen Ross. But last night, the Miami Dolphins announced they were sticking with Tony Sparano for the time being and thus began the NFL feeding frenzy of the last 24 hours. Not shockingly, it also left the San Francisco 49ers in the drivers seat to lure him away from Stanford. Though many considered Harbaugh to be a “Michigan man”, he has called the Bay area home for quite some time, including long ago from his high school days. The deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter is in the neighborhood of 5-years, $25 million dollars, although the exact details will be made available in a press conference later today. |
Gary Brackett fined $35k for brutal hit on Ken Amato Posted: 07 Jan 2011 12:39 PM PST It appears Gary Brackett’s devastating hit Sunday on long snapper Ken Amato has landed him in the doghouse with the NFL. Specifically to the tune of $35k according to Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer. If you haven’t seen the hit already, it’s not for the faint of heart. It’s one of those typical crack back blocks you’ll see on a special teams play, except this one definitely looked head-to-head. Moral of the story? Keep your head on a swivel son. |
Maryna Linchuk deserves more attention Posted: 07 Jan 2011 12:00 PM PST Since it’s been such a nice stretch of focusing on some of the lesser-known Victoria’s Secret models as of late I thought we’d close out the work week with Belarusian model Maryna Linchuk doing her sexy thing in some bras and bikinis for The Company. Other than the latest edition of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show it’s been about a year since we had some Maryna action on this site. Here’s to hopefully seeing a lot more of her in 2011. Lord knows she deserves it. |
Bipasha Basu celebrates her birthday today. Posted: 06 Jan 2011 09:52 PM PST January sees a lot of birthdays of Bollywood stars. Bipasha Basu, who’s presently in the news for her hot pic on the cover of Maxim magazine, turns a year older today. So how does she plan to celebrate the day? We hear that Bipasha would be with her family and close friends in Mumbai. There won’t be any big party but just a quiet get-together. Boyfriend John Abraham is expected to be with her. It’s been ten years since Bipasha stepped into Bollywood with Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Ajnabee for which she won the Filmfare Best Female Debut award, her only notable award till date. During the decade, she was twice voted as 'Sexiest Woman in Asia’ by the London weekly Eastern Eye. 2010 was rather forgettable for Bipasha with all three films starring her - Pankh, Lamhaa and Aakrosh - falling flat at box office. But 2011 looks promising. Apart from Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum, she’s doing her first international film Singularity with Josh Harnett. She’s also in Abbas-Mustan’s thriller Players.
