| Sky news soccer reporter Andy Gray fired for sexist comments Posted: 25 Jan 2011 12:20 PM PST Sky News reporter Andy Gray, who has been the face of soccer coverage for the network for more than 20 years, was fired for sexist comments he made about a female official. The comments, which were made when Gray thought his microphone was off, came during a pre-game broadcast between Wolves and Liverpool Saturday.
Below is audio of the conversation that took place between Gray and broadcast colleague Richard Keys. How dare Gray say that women don’t have an equal place in sports. Here in America, we have cheerleaders and dance team members who do an admirable job of keeping fans happy during sporting events. At the very least, they distract attention away from the abysmal job the officials are doing. And in the end, on the pitch, that makes them equals. |

Since we had some new Victoria’s Secret photos of Adriana Lima earlier today you knew it’d wouldn’t be long before new ones of Candice Swanepoel also cropped up and BOOM! here we are. As often as Victoria’s Secret comes out with new photos they sure must make a lot of different articles of clothing, which makes me wonder what they do with all the stuff that they DON’T sell? Do they donate it to the less fortunate? I mean, are there a bunch of homeless chicks running around in sexy lingerie and we just aren’t aware of it? Not that I want to see that, but it’d be fun to know. Kind of.                     |
| Actress Kajol gets Padma Shri Title Posted: 25 Jan 2011 04:44 PM PST She has been honoured with Padma Shri now and Bollywood actress Kajol, who is among this year’s recipients of the India’s fourth highest civilian award, is on top of the world. ’It’s an honour and a pleasure when you are selected for the Padma Shri and I thank all those who thought me worthy of it. I am very, very happy with the way this year has started,’ said Kajol. The actress started her cinematic journey at a young age of 17 with Bekhudi, but got commercial success with her second movie Baazigar. Her hit pairing with her good friend, superstar Shah Rukh Khan in films like Karan Arjun, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and My Name Is Khan, continued to work through her career. Born to actress Tanuja and late Bengali filmmaker Shomu Mukherjee, the 35-year-old is known for her versatility and natural flair for acting. She is married to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn and they have two children. Kajol was last seen in We Are Family and Toonpur Ka Superhero.
