As Fans Vote, MLB All-Stars Wait To Shine
The voting for the final two spots at the 2011 All-Star Game will close at 4 PM (EDT). As of this morning (July 7), Paul Konerko of the Chicago White Sox and Shane Victorino of the Philadelphia Phillies had the lead among online fan voting (sponsored by Sprint) for the final National and American League spots, respectively. Fans can follow @MLB on Twitter throughout the day for up-to-the-moment voting updates in advance of the balloting deadline. Fans can vote at MLB.com.

Esurance Doubles Up Tennis Activation With Bryan Brothers
As part of its expanding presence in tennis, Esurance has formed a marketing alliance with Bob and Mike Bryan, the winningest men’s doubles team in history. Esurance and the Bryan Brothers will join USTA executives in Austin, Texas, this week and then at other events during the summer for the SmashZone Mobile Tour, which supports USTA’s 10 and Under Tennis initiative. Esurance and the Bryan Brothers have also teamed up to “evolve your game” with a “Play With the Pros Sweepstakes.” Esurance recently unveiled an expansion of its sponsorship for the 2011 U.S. Open this year that will focus on elevating the fan experience and advancing the U.S. Open’s Green Initiative.

J&J Scores 2014 FIFA World Cup Deal
Johnson & Johnson has signed a deal to become a global sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. According to FIFA, the company is the eighth and final FIFA World Cup sponsor for the 2014 event. Johnson & Johnson will be the exclusive and Official Healthcare Sponsor, with the ability to activate across their Consumer, Medical Devices & Diagnostics and Pharmaceutical businesses. Johnson & Johnson will receive exclusive global marketing rights related to the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 and 2014 FIFA World Cup. The other FIFA 2014 World Cup sponsors are Budweiser, Castrol, Continental Airlines, McDonald’s, Oi, Seara and Yingli Solar.
