VIDEO: Derek Jeter gets 3000th hit

Posted: 09 Jul 2011 12:05 PM PDT

Derek Jeter got hit number 3000 in the 3rd inning off Rays pitcher David Price today. Jeter becomes the 28th player in Major League history to reach the feat and only the second to do so on a home run (Wade Boggs was the first).

Here’s video:

Inevitably, during your busy work week, there are videos you probably missed on Guyism. But don’t fret, we’ve compiled some of the best in one post for you.

Swedish soccer hottie, Josefine Öqvist, shows off her sports bra

In preparation for the 2011 Women's World Cup, we scoured the rosters of all sixteen teams and came up with the sexiest players you'll see during the tournament. Coming in at #1 on the list was Swedish soccer hottie, Josefine Öqvist, a 27-year old forward with 17 goals in international play.

Well, it seems our pick was justified because Öqvist showed the world her incredible soccer body by pulling a Brandi Chastain and disrobing after a match against North Korea.

Detroit woman plans to celebrate blackout ending with Kool-Aid

Some news stations might choose to report on a blackout ending with a degree of seriousness, perhaps even information about why it happened. But not Fox affiliate WJBK in Detroit. They just say, "Hey, can we get the most impoverished, hood black woman we can find and make her say nonsense?" Fox Detroit, you're our generation's Woodward and Bernstein.

Boob grab at Red Sox game causes announcers to lose it

NESN announcers Jerry Remy and Don Orsillo could barely contain themselves after seeing this epic boob grab in the stands during last night's Red Sox-Orioles game.

Kid bombs 'Jeopardy' answer worse than anyone ever

The YouTube uploader of this video captioned his upload with "Poor little dude…he finished strong though!" but let's be honest…this is just about the saddest "Jeopardy" answer ever provided. This kid Neil should stay away from game shows, spelling bees, and even highly advanced board games from now on.

How to use a rowing exercise machine, as not demonstrated by this guy

PRO TIP: When using a rowing exercise machine, try not to dry hump it. That's not a work out. That's just sexy. This gentleman missed that memo.

Mexican guy's drunken racist rant is somewhat entertaining

I always found it kind of funny that people say that people who happen to be ethnic minorities are incapable of being racist. It's not that they're incapable, their racism just lacks a certain wallop. Like in this clip of a Mexican dude angrily wandering the LA train platforms and yelling racist commentary about white people…it's just adorable! And threatening! But adorable!

Old man makes a great snag at Red Sox game

Over the last few weeks, we've seen a number of foul ball mishaps at MLB games. Parents dropping children, people getting bowled over and even a desperate lady stealing from a child. So it's nice to see someone finally make a good old fashion clean play on the ball. Well done old timer.

Piff the Magic Dragon might be the greatest magic act ever

I haven't seen any episodes of the UK Penn and Teller show "Fool Us" but, if this clip is any indication, it might be worth a watch. In this video, a magician going by the name Piff the Magic Dragon — a British dude in a dragon suit — does an awesome magic trick and is ridiculously funny throughout.

Ndamukong Suh goes one-on-one with high school linemen at Nike's "The Opening"

Several high school players at Nike’s “The Opening” this week received expert tutelage from some NFL players. Here’s Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh showing a kid how to get it done in the trenches.

Bad landing ability ruins bridesmaid wedding photoshoot

In my eyes, there are few things that help cleanse the palette heading back from a holiday weekend quite like someone embarrassing themselves in hilarious fashion. In this video, a bridesmaid photo where all the gals leap into the air excitedly with the bride ends in hilarity when one bridesmaid doesn't quite stick the landing.

And you thought your game collection was impressive/especially sad

Posted: 09 Jul 2011 09:30 AM PDT

Simply check out “Ahans76″s collection of PS2 games. The dude has every game ever made. Seriously.

Okay, only in the United States, but still, that’s a TON of titles. And did I mention that everything is sealed?

everyps2game And you thought your game collection was impressive/especially sad

Now, don’t get me wrong: I’m a collector as well, sorta. Though my general interest lies in stuff from Japan, and because the game itself is from a favorite genre or developer, but also something I enjoy… you know… playing? Having sealed games (especially en masse) is ridiculous; games are meant to be played and enjoyed, not just looked at on some shelf. Just call me back when a game can commonly fetch the high prices as some vintage baseball card or comic book and I guess I’ll change my tune. Actually, there are folks who have NES games sealed and graded, but at least those are super old and rare at this point. And maybe that sealed copy of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror might be a hot commodity… in like 175 years.

Anyway, here’s an interview with the dude, and for the most part it’s rather innocent and boring, with the only real meat on them bones exchange being…

“Q: We at PlaystationCollecting.com are nuts for Playstation games, but even in our community it's a rarity to find someone going for a full set. Not just because it's a time consuming and expensive feat, but also because the enormous amounts of titles that got released for the system. How come you're the exception and did go for the full set?”

A: I didn't try to go for a full collection at first, I kind of fell into it. I started acquiring more Playstation 2 games, more then I could play, so I decided to just leave them sealed. At first I had about 300 or 400 sealed and then I decided to look up on the internet how many games there were. At the time a website said that there were 800. Being halfway there I decided, why not go for a full collection? Later I found out that I wasn't even a quarter of the way there. By that time I had already acquired so many games from stores going out of business (like game crazy) that I continued collecting and went for the full set. Since there are still games being released for the Playstation 2 the set is not final yet, but to the best of my knowledge it's about 1850+ different titles, not counting variants.”

1,850 games? Jesus? And that’s not counting all the things for other systems that he also has. Craziest part? Dude is married and totally supports him 100%. She even makes checklists with him and goes on these crazy ass trips to hunt down games. That’s real love people.
