| Levi’s waterless jeans are made with 28% less water Posted: 10 Mar 2011 02:05 PM PST Back in November, Levi’s introduced a line of jeans that were made using less water than normal. The collection reduced water consumption by up to 28%. Recently, they released some new additions to the line.
 Levi’s have always been my go to pair of jeans. They have a variety of styles that not only are constructed well, but are affordable, too. Last fall, they created a line of jeans that are process with 28% water. Amongst some of the changes they’ve made are incorporating ozone processing into the garment washing (i have no idea what that means, but it sounds good) and removing the water from the stone wash. Long story short, they’re still using all the great materials and processes to create Levi’s jeans, but they’ve substantially reduced the role water plays in all that. The Spring 2011 line will reduce water consumption by about 16 million litres. The offerings are what you’d expect – the 501, 514, 511 skinny jeans, and also the trucker jacket. Beginning in March (i.e. NOW), the lines will be extended to include Levi’s “Made in the USA” jeans – 501, 505, 511 skinny, and the trucker jacket as well. These will be available on line at levi.com and in select stores around the country. All the products will be cut from selvedge denim and available in a range of Water<Less washes. So, head on over to the website and grab a pair of jeans that are doing something good for the environment. You’ll look good and feel good. No harm in that, right?  |

They definitely don’t seem to enjoy it but in every drag queen fight I’ve seen on the glorious YouTubes, it always features someone’s wig getting snatched. Get your acts together, drag queen community. Also, perhaps this is part of Taco Bell’s quest to get more respect for the grade A beef they have in their restaurants. | Sonam is extremely fond of Galliano’s designs. Posted: 09 Mar 2011 09:55 PM PST Sonam Kapoor may be very brand and fashion conscious but when it comes to controversies, she prefers staying at a safe distance. So, when her favorite designer Galliano got involved in controversies post his anti-Semitic statements, she was extremely upset and decided to swear off his outfits and accessories. It may be mentioned here that Sonam is extremely fond of Galliano’s designs. His fashion house had created most of Sonam’s outfits and accessories for 'Aisha’. She even possesses a few outfits from the fashion house. It all started when the renowned designer John Galliano verbally attacked a woman and for made anti-Semitic insults after a drinking session. He has been arrested for the crime and French prosecutors have ordered him to stand trial on the charges of public insults based on the origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity over his remarks. Though he issued an apology, Galliano has been suspended. He could spend up to six months in prison if convicted.
